What is NLDC?
AIESEC Canada’s National Leadership Development Conference is an annual 5-day event that brings together 300 business leaders from 30+ universities across Canada to network and develop their skills in teamwork, sales, finance, and marketing. In 2019, we are introducing the Innovation Series to connect our delegates with the leading businesses in technology and disruption.

Every year, AIESEC in Canada releases the Youth to Business survey. This survey aims to better understand the priorities of young people to communicate them with industry professionals. Young people are most affected by this gap, and have a responsibility to shape the future they want to see.

I've had the pleasure of attending three NLDCs during my time in AIESEC and the conference has been a consistent source of motivation, connection, and development. The conference has allowed me to build lasting relationships with my AIESEC colleague as well as business professionals such as Erin Williams of the Asia Pacific Foundation and Manisha Narula of the League of Innovators. The conference is a must for any AIESECer.

The Y2B forum is an absolutely unreal experience. To be in the same room as business professionals who only want the best for each young person at this conference is amazing. I attended NLDC last year, and the conference truly showed me every aspect of what AIESEC can provide. I made so many connections outside my local chapter and felt the passion that AIESEC shared with every single delegate. The Youth to Business Forum had amazing speakers where they connected their company values to AIESEC values, and that allowed me to see the impact that AIESEC is making outside of this organization. Most importantly, NLDC allowed me to reflect on myself and understand how much AIESEC has changed me to a better leader.
